At present, the development of Indore city is happening at a rapid pace in continuity from AB Road to Bypass. At the same time, the development of the western region of Indore city has started slowly due to the Super Corridor, Nagar Vikas Yojana No. 10 under development by the Authority. Just as the pressure of the central area of Indore city has been possible due to the connectivity available from Pithampur to Dewas with vehicular traffic. Similarly, if the 75 meter wide road of the development plan connected to Pithampur to Dhar road, which joins Ujjain Road at village Revati, is constructed, then development will gain speed on both sides of the said road, while heavy and goods vehicles coming from Dhar Depalpur will be able to travel directly towards Ujjain and Pithampur without entering Indore city.
In Indore Vikas Yojana 2021, 15 km long road from Revati village to village Rinzhalai will be constructed. On the 75 meter long and 75 meter wide road, 5 city development plans have been prepared on the basis of land use proposed in the development plan such as residential, commercial, industrial and other land uses. Financial management will be done through these plans.
Along with the development of the western region, the city development plans will provide transport facilities to the western region, while the traffic pressure and pollution from the central region will be reduced.
To build a 15 kilometer road, a total of 5 schemes will be implemented on about 1400 hectares of land of 8 villages. The total cost of the project in the first phase will be Rs 400 crore.
